  • Update insurance information for existing patients
  • Call to obtain pre-authorization for recommended services and procedures
  • Follow up on outstanding claims and accounts receivable
  • Input checks and audit accounts
  • Inform relevant clinical staff about denials 
  • Answer questions related to billing and insurance
